Le nkui is a traditional dish Bamiléké prepared on the occasion of the birth of a child and served to the mother.

It is a sticky sauce from the bark of a plant called the Triumfetta pentandra, seasoned with several condiments (ngachu'u, lepka'ah, diepse'eh, zehfe, lep bark, susieu, lep fruit) and served with a corn couscous.

It is eaten by hand because the sauce is so sticky that no utensil can catch it.
